I am 18 years old. I weigh 185 my height is 5′ 7
I want to lose healthy, safe way.
How much do i need to lose? What type of exercise should i do everyday?
How long would it take? Less than a year would be great! icon smile I want to lose weight healthy And how much should i lose? Plz some adice :)!!!!!? Is that healthy?
Anyway how many calories would i need to eat a day?

Hi Angiee, great question. I know what it is like to need to lose some weight!

Your ideal weight is around 148 Lbs. So you want to lose around 35 pounds.

You can start out with simple excersises like walking every day. Reverse crunches are a great exercise for exercising the lower portion of the stomach and my favorite stomach exercise is the bicycle crunch. It really works!

But you could lose that weight in a year simply by eating healthy. Eat only organic and do not eat processed foods. And is is very healthy to do this icon wink I want to lose weight healthy And how much should i lose? Plz some adice :)!!!!!?

You want to avoid eating excessive processed carbohydrates such as refined grain-based starches and refined sugars on a daily basis. Instead eat quality proteins from grass-fed meats, nuts and beans. They provide good appetite suppression so you can control your calorie intake easier.

Don’t worry about calories as much as jut eating healthy. If you eat the right things you will be OK. But of course even if you are eating healthy you don’t want to over eat.

can i not eat, lose weight and not muscle if i weight train?

i am 125 lbs, a girl and 5 feet 1 or 2 inches tall. i have a pretty big gut tho. i will prolly only have one meal a day, but still weight train. ive been on a diet for about 2 weeks now and i hae not lost any weight. the only thing im unhappy with is my belly and how big it is.

when you eat food you give your bdy feul to work off of what is your body gonna get from one meal a day? you need alt least 5 meals a day all small portions with a good amout of protien but keep in mind to eat healthy . oh, and when you wheit train you will acually gain weight but will look slimmer this is in result of your body losing fat, replacing it with muscle and toning

you won t loose weight just by practising sports.. yes it will help but alone it won t do anything. There are 3 rules:
-drink a lot of water
-watch what you eat
-practice ( u can practice what ever sports u like … swimming boxing running are very good sport to make u loose weight;) )

hmm…. you didnt mention your height.. but anyway here is a way to lose weight;

- Exercise for about 1hour a day, you dont have to do it in one go, just bit by bit for example four 15minute exercise each day

- Cut out junk foods and crappy foods and replace them with healthier foods e.g. fruit, vegetables, seeds etc

- Drink LOADSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of water. That will really help you because if you feel like grabbing a chocolate bar, you can grab the water and it will sometimes satisfy your hunger

ive been running everyday since last monday. i skip sundays though. i havent seen any results at all. it actually looks like i put more fat on my body than i had? is this just me seeing this? i have not lost any weight. i actually gained 5 pounds. how come? what will help me lose stomach fat faster? im 14. should i run more miles a day? icon biggrin How much weight will i lose running 2 miles a day?

Relative to how much most people eat, running a couple of miles doesn’t actually burn off very many calories. However, it does help ‘energize’ your metabolism, and also build muscle. The weight gain you noticed is probably a mixture of increased muscle (muscle weighs a lot more than fat) and normal variation (It’s not unusual for me to weigh 2-5 lb different from week-to week, or from day to day). So, you probably won’t ‘lose’ weight while running, but you should notice the fat starts to get burned off. That said, you won’t be losing much fat while running if you replace it with what you eat everyday, so eat healthily!

I am relatively thick. Decent size butt hips thighs very shapely. I want to make maintain my waistline and possibly make it smaller but when i lose weight I tend to lose it all over. I am a female, I am 5’6 and i weight about 175lbs. I would like to lose anywhere from 35-45 lbs. How many calories should I be eating per day? What are some healthy meal recipes? Approx. what times of the day should I be eating? What are some great exercises you can do in your home that burns calories without spending money? Last question, what would be the best way to keep track of what I eat? I would like to do it fast but really healthy without any diet pills etc.

I am at the current weight of 250 pounds and need to lose some weight in a months period. I guess I need to know how many calories can I have a day to maintain my weight, so I can plan how many calories I should eat a day to drop quite a few pounds in a months time. Girls should do between 1200-1600 calories/day and guys 2000. Just make sure that what you’re eating is good quality food (veggies/fruit/lean protein).
